Much Ado About Nothing

The Monty Python Society had become so well known for pulling outrageous stunts on campus that we were the first people they went to when a strange event happened in front of Willard Building.

Nothing Protest Article (Click to enlarge)

Basically, some protesters, in what might have been a fraternity initiation or, perhaps, a performing artist's event, marched in front of Willard Building with blank signs, saying nothing.

The Daily Collegian interviewed the protesters, who quite naturally had no comment. They turned to us, then. The article reads: "The Penn State Monty Python Society, known for staging such bizarre demonstrations, denied any responsibility for the protest. But they did tip their hats to the merry pranksters."

This denial may or may not have been believed by the average reader. So, when you think about it, we got credit for a non-protest we didn't stage.
