Here's the write-up from the newsletter:

Pythoners say — Leave that hole alone!
By Alyce Wilson

"Holes must be wholly free!"

"Free the hole!"

Last Monday protesters rallied in front of the Pollock construction site.

Shouting slogans and passing out literature, these radicals demonstrated against "the inhumane construction sites."

The protest caused a bit of a stir; it ended up on WRSC radio and on the front page of the Collegian (with a photo). Before anyone knew, understood, or cared, the Monty Python Society had struck again.

Somewhere, at this moment, a million holes are being held captive. These holes are denied their natural habitats of highways, desert basins, and the bottoms of oceans. They are kept within wire fences scarcely big enough for breathing room. These captive holes should be allowed to roam free.

That's why we, the local chapter of "Help Obliterate Land Extinction" joined the Penn State Monty Python Society to protest the deeds at Pollock fields. We will not rest until every hole is allowed the sovereignty and freedom it deserves.

At least ten people showed up for the rally: Damon Buckwalter, Natalie Harp, Steve Gradess, Jen Hoffman, Meg Jeffery, Scott Kane, Doug Miller, Mark Sachs, Alyce Wilson, Andy Wilson and more.

For complete coverage of the event, refer to last Tuesday's Collegian, front page. Need a copy? Give me 10 cents, a pit of blood, and a note from your mom, and I'll see what I can do.

The Collegian also ran an editorial about the event:
