This year, we had so much rain during the peak weeks of fall foliage that I was lucky to get any photos at all. Here are my best pictures taken over the last month or so.

Yellow and orange leaves show brightly
against the dark tree branches and the blue sky.
An orange and crimson leaf, with yellow lines,
is contrasted to the black and white asphalt.
A white streak of cloud rises over a silhouetted skyline of trees and a roof.
Several clumps of small brown mushrooms dot a lawn.
A bush begins to get red leaves amongst the green.
A tree covered with red, yellow and orange trees
is highlighted against a brilliant blue sky.
The sun shines through some fall red leaves.
Una loves leaf piles, especially ones that are taller
than her,
as evidenced from her broad smile.
A bird bath is filled with both plastic lotus flowers and real red leaves.

Una happily sits on a bed of fallen orange and yellow leaves.
Moral:
Have a camera ready for that brief window of fall foliage season.
