At least I remembered to take a picture of myself in
2004,
even if it was too dark! This was taken at the Dead Dog party
for staff at the close of the convention.
Pimp Daddy, who was the Con Chair that year,
poses with Hiroko-chan, the Otakon mascot.
This purple hat is how he earned his nickname.
This sad scene took place near the end of 2005.
Lesson: be careful with star-shaped balloons, lest they turn on you.
Moral:
Balloons only look innocent.
