Melissa McGhee |
While it was little surprise who went home on American Idol last night, the other members of the bottom three were a bit of a surprise. Melissa McGhee learned she had the lowest number of votes and would be sent packing, little surprise due to her shaky performance the night before. But surprisingly, the other two contestants in the bottom three were pretty boy Ace Young and singing prodigy Lisa Tucker. While Ace's performance for the evening was weak, most people expected that he had a strong enough fan base to last for another several weeks. It's pretty scary when Kevin "Chicken Little" Covais has more fans than Ace. |
Most people who were listening objectively would agree that Lisa Tucker put in a better performance than both Kevin and country boy Bucky Covington. This just goes to show that she's done little to attract a fan base. That's going to come back to haunt her in the following weeks, unless she steps up her game. I'll share more photos now from the Philadelphia Flower Show that The Gryphon and I attended last weekend, where the theme was "Enchanted Spring."
